About the Role:
The Iowa Primary Care Association is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join their dynamic team at a vibrant community health center in Keokuk, IA. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and families in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial assessments to patients and families to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems related to their diagnosis, illness, treatment, and/or life situation.
- Formulate, develop, and implement comprehensive psychosocial treatment plans utilizing appropriate clinical social work and/or counseling treatments and interventions.
- Participate in period staff conferences to present case histories and confer with internal and external members of the therapy team to develop comprehensive evaluations or plans pertinent to therapy programs.
- Prepare and maintain case records for each patient to describe the nature of social problems and services suggested or provided.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited master's social work, counseling, marriage/family therapy, and/or behavioral health education program.
- Licensed as a behavioral health professional to practice as LISW in Iowa (LISW, LMSW, or LMHC).
- BLS, ACLS, or ATLS certification required.
Benefits:

About the Health Center:
The health center provides an integrated care model that includes dental, medical, behavioral health, pharmacy, lab, and other services under one roof. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
