Job Summary

Mint Mobile is seeking a talented Senior UI Designer to join our Marketing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the visual and interactive direction of our digital web platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet business requirements and align with overall design specifications.
  • Lead the creation of visually stunning and intuitive UI designs, ensuring consistency and coherence across platforms.
  • Take ownership of the design process, iterating on concepts to refine and enhance visual designs.
  • Present work and concepts to the team and key stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and decision-making process.
  • Conceptualize and integrate user interface animations that enhance interactivity and user engagement.
  • Focus on creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that accurately represent the final UI.
  • Uphold brand consistency and maintain design standards across all projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, tools, visual design trends, and competitive products.
  • Collaborate, mentor, and guide mid-level and junior-level designers on large projects.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of UI design experience for touch-based mobile interfaces for e-commerce (D2C brands preferred).
  • Strong portfolio with examples of visually compelling and functional UI designs for responsive and mobile websites.
  • Strong ability to empathize with and solve user needs and pain points through visual design.
  • Expert knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, iconography, and digital image preparation.
  • Expert knowledge of modern UI patterns, elements, interactions, and responsive web design.
  • Experience with animation tools and a strong affinity for user interface animation to enhance interactivity and user engagement.
  • Ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions and provide a clear point of view.
  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with diverse team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects of varying sizes without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices.
