Salary and Benefits

Job Description
The Crime Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing crime data, identifying patterns and trends, and developing reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. This includes:
- Reviewing and categorizing crime reports, additional reports, and field contact reports
- Collecting and analyzing crime report data to identify crime patterns and series
- Preparing specific crime analysis reports and disseminating them to appropriate users

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the Crime Analyst must have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a combination of education and experience in a related field, such as business or public administration, economics, mathematics, or a related field, and one year of professional research work experience.
