Position Summary:

The Quotations Specialist will operate under general supervision, leveraging technical expertise to create comprehensive quotation packages tailored to product specifications. The role requires a keen ability to interpret client needs, align products with those specifications, and guarantee that the quotations are both technically sound and competitively priced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize in-depth product knowledge and manufacturing capabilities to propose effective solutions that address client requirements.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to generate timely proposals that deliver value to both clients and the organization.
• Engage professionally with clients to discern their needs and assess alternative technical solutions.
• Document specific client requirements, preferences, and concerns accurately.
• Employ quotation software tools, including catalogs and pricing databases, to facilitate the quoting process.
• Log client quotation requests systematically.
• Maintain an organized repository of quotations and related documentation.
• Ensure clear communication among clients, external sales representatives, and internal personnel.
• Notify supervisors or managers regarding client issues or potential company liabilities.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in interpreting client specifications and recommending products that fulfill their needs.
• Understanding of customer support standards in business-to-business environments.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability to evolving business requirements.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes relevant to customer support.
• Meticulous attention to detail with effective communication skills for summarizing information.
• Competence in utilizing computer systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in technical customer support.
