Overview

As a Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will play a critical role in preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Your expertise will ensure patient safety protocols are in place and maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Perform and assist with nuclear medicine studies
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are in place and maintained
  • Maintain federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Licensure: Licensed in Nuclear Medicine by the State of Oklahoma
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Other: Basic computer knowledge and ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience
  • Preferred Certifications: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Preferred Other: Additional languages preferred
