Job Title: Virtualization Engineer

Interactive Process Technology LLC is seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Engineer to join our Technology Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing virtualization solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement virtualization solutions using VMware and other technologies
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization
  • Implement monitoring for virtual infrastructure and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and manage VMware virtualization environment components
  • Ensure virtualization systems are compliant with required security standards
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for VMware desktop virtualization environment
  • Develop and implement testing strategies and document results
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the virtualization environment
  • Establish and sustain virtual infrastructure, migrate mission applications, and establish new mission applications

Requirements:

  • MS/MA in related field
  • 15 years of related work experience
  • DoD 8570 Level II/III certification
  • Active Security clearance required
