As a Scaffold Journeyman at Brown & Root Industrial Services, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection of scaffolding systems for various construction projects.

• Assembly and Erection: Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, braces, and planks, to meet job specifications.
• Formwork Support: Brace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
• Scaffolding Security: Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying and ensuring stability.
• Platform Installation: Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures, and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure that scaffolding is properly maintained and secured.

• Experience in scaffold erection and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
