Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy experience to work as a Clinical Pharmacist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reviewing and monitoring patients' medication therapy, advising healthcare professionals, and preparing medications according to physicians' prescriptions.

Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor patients' medication therapy and orders written by appropriate prescribers
  • Advise healthcare professionals of any issues with patients' medication therapy and provide recommendations
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications for patients in accordance with physicians' prescriptions
  • Prepare sterile IV admixtures
  • Provide drug information and educate caregivers, patients, and students regarding their medication and its proper use and monitoring
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • An active Pharmacist license in the state of Tennessee
  • At least 2+ years of experience in an Inpatient Pharmacy setting
  • 1+ year of experience in IV compounding
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive package that includes housing, mileage, and per-diem expenses covered during the contract period.
