Position Summary:
We are in search of a meticulous and systematic Orders Specialist to assist our healthcare office. The Orders Specialist is essential for maintaining the efficient workflow of our operations by ensuring that orders are processed with precision and in a timely manner. This role demands exceptional communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly process physician orders in line with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Liaise with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to gather necessary documentation and clarify orders as required.
- Keep precise records of all orders received and completed.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to guarantee the swift initiation of patient care services.
- Follow up on pending orders and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
- Support additional administrative functions as necessary to facilitate office operations.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or administrative capacity is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
