POSITION OVERVIEW This role is essential in ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents and their families.
KEY DUTIES
- Responsible for cleaning resident living spaces, which includes dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, and washing windows.
- Disposes of trash and other waste materials, transporting them to designated disposal areas.
- May assist care staff in maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
- Identifies and reports maintenance needs to the Executive Director and maintenance personnel.
- Prior experience in housekeeping is mandatory.
- Experience in an Assisted Living environment is preferred.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
