Clinical Respiratory Therapist Position with Competitive Compensation

Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Certified Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction. You must have a broad knowledge of the pathophysiology of the cardiopulmonary system and the complex procedures required to properly diagnose and treat patients.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician, including medical gas administration, aerosol therapy, and patient testing.
- Operate and maintain various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment, provide mechanical ventilation, and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Provide patient education, monitor equipment and patient response to therapy, and complete documentation of in-patient and departmental records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care.
- NBRC CRT certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
