Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Position patients appropriately for scanning
Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner
Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients as needed
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required

Requirements

BLS and ACLS certification
National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong technical skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Passionate about patient care
Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience
Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
Active unencumbered Wisconsin CT Tech state license
One year of Cerner experience
ARRT Certification

Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise

Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks
