We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at HomeCare of East Alabama Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
About the RoleAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinating the total plan of care with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care and ensuring continuity of care.
- Conducting initial and comprehensive nursing evaluations, developing plans of care, and submitting accurate and timely documentation in collaboration with physician orders.
- Ensuring patients meet home health eligibility and medical necessity guidelines as defined by payer sources.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- A current CPR certification.
- A current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
