As a Traveling RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates in a NICU setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and care coordination

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience
  • Strong Level 3 RN experience considered if experience includes surgeries on newborns
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Willingness to float between units (PICU, CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses
  • Own transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS certifications
  • Experience with oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula, specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC, UVC, PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes
