About the Job:

This is a hands-on technical role that requires a strong understanding of data center infrastructure and cabling systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and testing complex cabling systems for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement structured cabling systems for data centers, including OSP, ISP, rack, stack, patch, fusion splicing, and testing.
  • Install and terminate optical fiber and copper installations, including cable terminations, labeling, and grounding.
  • Read and interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets to ensure accurate installation.
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting as required to ensure high-quality work.
  • Proactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeeping maintenance to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ensure satisfactory compliance with customer security requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data center infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Excellent knowledge of structured cabling systems, including OSP, ISP, rack, stack, patch, fusion splicing, and testing.
  • Strong understanding of optical fiber and copper installations, including cable terminations, labeling, and grounding.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
