Job Summary:

The Lead Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and properties. You will be responsible for performing general repairs and preventative maintenance of our properties through effective leadership and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs to facility equipment and systems.
  • Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
  • Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance to ensure plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
  • Perform general repairs onsite to protect property and residents.
  • Support with inspecting work orders and other assignments.
  • Assist with supervision of daily operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
  • Ability to provide and use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and able to follow instructions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with residents and vendors.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods walking and standing.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
