Job Overview

The Suffolk Regional Off-Track Betting Corp. is seeking a highly skilled HRIS/IT Analyst to join its team. This individual will be responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) while also providing IT support, system administration, and user support across various HR and IT applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS Management:
    • Manage and maintain the company's HRIS, ensuring accurate data and functionality.
    • Configure HRIS modules, including onboarding, performance management, time tracking, payroll, and benefits.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with HR and IT teams.
    • Perform system upgrades, test, and implementation of new HRIS functionalities or modules.
  • Data Management & Reporting:
    • Ensure HR data integrity, performing regular audits to maintain data quality.
    • Develop, generate, and maintain ad-hoc reports for HR metrics, compliance, and decision-making support.
    • Provide data analytics and reporting for employee headcount, turnover rates, compensation, diversity, and other HR KPIs.
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support for both HR systems and company-wide IT systems, including desktops, servers, applications, and networks.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to employee devices, network access, and system performance.
    • Liaise with third-party vendors for system integrations, software licenses, and maintenance contracts.
  • Project Management:
    • Collaborate with IT and HR teams on projects involving system integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
    • Serve as a technical liaison between the HR and IT departments, ensuring seamless communication and execution of cross-functional projects.
    • Assist in the deployment of software updates and manage change control for HR and IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HRIS/IT role, supporting HR technology and providing IT system support.
    • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, Oracle HCM) and IT infrastructure (e.g., Windows Server, Active Directory).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HRIS administration and configuration.
    • Experience with system integrations, troubleshooting, and technical support.
    • Solid understanding of database management, data analysis, and reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with IT security practices, networks, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business terms.
    • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Customer service-oriented, with a passion for supporting internal users and stakeholders.
