As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide advanced practice nursing care and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic complaints related to specialty, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams, assessing normal and abnormal findings.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies as necessary, and initiate arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments, and collaborate with supervising physicians as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Recognize and respond to situations requiring immediate physician attention, and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN or PA licensure in the State of Georgia, and current NP or PA certification by a nationally accredited organization.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification for healthcare providers.
  • Experience in community health is desirable, but a strong interest in community medicine is acceptable in lieu of experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
