Position: Pizza Cook

The Pizza Cook at Eli's will be responsible for operating the oven and innovating new recipes in collaboration with the Chef. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of pizzas aligns with Eli's standards, mastering the pizza preparation area and oven operations, and upholding cleanliness and food safety protocols.

• Work varied hours, including weekends
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and special requests
• Operate a high-temperature brick oven
• Adhere to portion control and food safety regulations
• Utilize thermometers accurately for food safety
• Communicate any delays in food preparation to the Coordinator
• Maintain accurate counts of menu items and notify management of low stock
• Account for all items prepared from their station
• Understand and implement food allergy protocols
• Follow safety and sanitation standards diligently
• Proficiently operate kitchen tools and equipment
• Comply with employment policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks as assigned
