Position Details

Compensation: Competitive pay rates, including an Attendance Premium of $0.25 and Shift Premiums ranging from $0.50 to $1.00 for hours worked during evening and night shifts. A longevity premium of $0.25 is available after one year of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately identify, stage, and load products.
  • Properly stack pallets according to order numbers and product codes.
  • Label all pallets with the Master Order Number.
  • Verify pricing, pull dates, and case quantities against the pick sheet.
  • Transport completed pallets to the designated staging area.
  • Wrap and load pallets as directed by the manifest operator.
  • Inspect the staging area for completed pallets.
  • Ensure all cases are correctly labeled and contain scannable barcodes.
  • Maintain quality and food safety standards in compliance with company policies and USDA regulations.
Qualifications
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance, including the ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to established protocols and procedures, accepting constructive feedback.
  • Commitment to safety and the ability to model safe working practices.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety procedures.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a cold environment.
  • Capability to obtain certifications for forklift, pallet jack, and yard goat operation.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize the EMW system for shipping and warehouse management.
  • Physical ability to lift boxes weighing between 50 to 80 pounds repeatedly.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and non-standard hours.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete or metal surfaces.
  • Proven track record of dependability, particularly regarding safety and attendance.
