East End Occupational Therapy is a well-established and reputable healthcare organization seeking a Full-Time Front Desk professional to join our dynamic team. Our practice specializes in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation services. We are looking for an individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and prioritizes our patients' needs above all else. This position is 35-40 hours per week, offering a stable and secure work environment.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Welcoming patients with a warm and courteous demeanor
  • Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic's schedule
  • Collecting copays and handling patient payments
  • Coordinating new patient intake processes
  • Verifying patient insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
  • Scanning and uploading patient documents

Requirements:



  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management software, such as WebPT
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
