Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Presidential Fellow to join our team in the Office of the President at Lafayette College. As a key member of our staff, you will provide administrative support to the President and assist with various initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with special projects and events, including Commencement, Founder's Day, and the Lighting of the Quad.
  • Serve as a liaison between the President's Office and other University departments.
  • Stay abreast of key issues affecting the student body and identify areas that require attention or intervention.
  • Draft briefing materials and background information for the President and staff.
  • Assist with tracking correspondence and responding to inquiries.
  • Conduct research and draft talking points for the President's speaking events.
  • Draft content for the President's social media accounts.
Requirements
  • A degree from Lafayette College with recent knowledge of the College's culture and student experience.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to interact with executive-level administrators, faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for Lafayette College.
  • Ability to translate prior College experiences and knowledge in support of the institution's mission and programs.
