Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for automotive applications, including switches, LED lighting, and power electronics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct worst-case tolerance analysis and design failure mode effect analysis to ensure design robustness.
  • Work with suppliers to source components and materials, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements and innovations.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design engineering, with a focus on automotive applications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including power electronics, microprocessors, and voltage regulators.
  • Experience with CAD tools, such as Altium, and simulation tools, such as PSPICE.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with LED-based white and color-mixing system design.
  • Knowledge of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) tests and design verification.
  • Experience with power circuit design, component selection, and circuit simulation.
  • Knowledge of power dissipation calculation, worst-case tolerance analysis, and design failure mode effect analysis.
