Job Summary

This position is a machine operator-level role within the manufacturing area, ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost to meet customer specifications and delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure the finished package meets the highest level of quality and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accomplish job duties utilizing safe work habits and maintaining a safe workplace
  • Assist operators during changeovers
  • Complete paperwork and duties in a timely, organized, and accurate manner
  • Read and understand shop orders
  • Communicate with operators and shift leads
  • Perform and maintain clean lines in the manufacturing area and equipment
  • Operate forklifts as required
  • Receive additional direction from operators/shift leads
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Basic skills in using computers: MS Office, Windows, SAP experience is a plus
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment with good communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills and self-starter motivation
  • Ability to train and support others on the team to build a proficient team across all shifts
