Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospitality Director to join our team at Sonoma Raceway, a premier entertainment venue and part of Speedway Motorsports' nationwide network.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences for our clients, managing event functions, and collaborating with our General Manager and VP of Sales to develop marketing strategies and achieve revenue goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Oversee all aspects of booking groups, meetings, and catering functions, including concepting unique events and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build effective relationships with high-end DMCs, tourism organizations, and corporate event planners, evaluating and initiating opportunities to develop new sources of business.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our exclusive catering partner, Levy Restaurants, and maintain deep knowledge of property features to represent the facility with passion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in luxury environments in a comparable position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A curious mind and strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Appreciation for high standards, attention to detail, and discretion in customer service.
Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000-$85,000, as well as medical, dental, and other insurance benefits, a 401(k) plan, vacation, and paid holidays.
