Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU RN

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU at Inova Alexandria Hospital. This is a night shift position, working from 7:00pm to 7:00am. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of RN clinical experience, preferably in ICU. A BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required, and if you have an ADN, you must complete your BSN within 5 years of your start date. You will also need to be proficient in English, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to display a caring demeanor towards others. About the Role:As a Cardiac Vascular Neuro ICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our patients with vascular and neuro conditions. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and you will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. You will also be required to participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest best practices and technologies.
Requirements:- At least 1 year of RN clinical experience, preferably in ICU
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- ADN with commitment to complete BSN within 5 years of start date
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to display a caring demeanor towards others
- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required
- ACLS within 90 days
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
