Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Lead to join our team at Klamath Tribal Health and Family Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our medical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of patient care and service.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the medical clinic.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide training and education to medical staff on new procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to medical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 180 days of hire.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information required.
