Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor medical staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of patient care and service.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the medical clinic.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Provide training and education to medical staff on new procedures and protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 180 days of hire.
- Strong leadership and communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information required.
The Medical Assistant Lead will work in a fast-paced medical clinic environment, interacting with patients, staff, and community partners. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
