You will work at the cutting edge, designing and developing software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies, and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and drive product definition and prioritization for firmware features. Influence the hardware and software direction for features that span beyond firmware.
• Generate Intellectual Property to protect innovations.
• Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to align the architectural road map to achieve the strategic vision.
• Assess and optimize program tradeoffs such as cost, performance, quality, and schedule, while making the proper feature tradeoffs between firmware, electrical, power, and thermal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a similar field, with 15+ years of industry experience.
• UEFI BIOS and/or Embedded Controller development experience with Intel and/or AMD x86, and ARM system architectures.
