Position Overview


The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is seeking a qualified Dietitian to join the Nutritional Services Program at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.

In this role, Dietitians will deliver nutrition education to both individuals and groups, develop and assess nutritional care plans for patients, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals.

Ideal candidates will possess the ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage nutrition-related health issues, have a solid understanding of dietetics, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Successful completion of an Accredited Dietetic Internship Program and proof of acceptance for the Registered Dietitian examination
  • Background investigation/fingerprint and/or physical exam may be required
