About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Presbyterian Medical Center Labor&Delivery, a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have previous L&D experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Surgical Technologist will work under the supervision of a surgeon and registered nurse to facilitate safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. This includes ensuring the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted with maximum patient safety in mind.

Responsibilities
  • Safe Operating Room Environment: Ensure the operating room is free from hazards and maintains asepsis throughout the procedure.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Verify that all equipment is functioning correctly and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor patients' condition during surgery and report any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
  • Certification: Current Surgical Tech Certification preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
