AWS Certified Welding Inspector

At HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc., we are seeking a part-time AWS Certified Welding Inspector to join our team in Pittsfield, Maine. As a Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for performing inspection during the fabrication of structural steel, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid AWS CWI certification and demonstrated experience performing quality inspection of welds in accordance with AWS D1.5 (Bridge Welding Code). You will also be required to have a valid driver's license, access to a personal computer, and the ability to operate Microsoft Word and Excel.

In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time. You will exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently, and have visual acuity requirements including color and depth perception, and field of vision.
