Position Overview

As a Retail Account Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships and ensure a positive retail experience with our National Retail clients within the Tampa and West Florida region. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with branch and corporate teams to drive profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass the following activities:

  • Engage with existing National Retail clients at the store level, ensuring the installation and upkeep of marketing materials across all accounts, identifying optimal areas for cross-merchandising, and constructing and maintaining displays and point-of-purchase materials. (85%)
  • Collaborate with National Retail Regional Managers and other sales personnel to ensure the successful execution of territory initiatives and projects. (10%)
  • Perform additional tasks such as effective CRM management, business planning, timely expense report submissions, and maintaining company vehicles. (5%)

Qualifications

To excel in this role, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • Preferred Associate's degree.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in retail merchandising or sales, with a focus on National Accounts or business/marketing.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify needs and take initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with common construction tools.
  • Dependability and accountability in fulfilling commitments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The work environment includes a mix of office settings, customer locations, and outdoor construction sites, with standard office equipment usage.

Travel Requirements

This role necessitates up to 50% domestic travel.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $51,100 - $73,100 annually. We offer a comprehensive rewards package, including competitive pay, quarterly bonuses or commissions, and a variety of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, and more.
