Job Overview

Craftsmen Industries is a leading manufacturer of custom trailers and vehicles, as well as large format printed elements for marketing and industrial solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct unique displays, trailers, and vehicles according to project specifications, utilizing expertise in carpentry and fabrication.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Follow instructions from Team Leads and supervisors, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
  • 1-4 years of mechanical trade experience, with a focus on carpentry and fabrication.
  • Basic hand tool knowledge, with the ability to operate power tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles, including safety protocols and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team or independently, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade school or relevant experience, with a specialization in carpentry or a related field.
  • Certification in Welding, Fabrication, Carpentry, Autobody Repair, HVAC, or Electrical, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Class A license, with the ability to operate commercial vehicles and equipment.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights, with a strong sense of balance and spatial awareness.
  • Occasional travel may be required, with the ability to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
