Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments, interviews, and observations to develop behavior intervention plans that address the specific needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses, to implement behavior support plans that address the specific needs of patients.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to the treatment team regarding behavioral strategies, crisis management, and de-escalation techniques.
- Train staff members on the implementation of behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing supervision and support.
- Monitor and analyze data to track patient progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with patients' families to provide education, support, and guidance regarding behavior management techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required
- Must have Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification, MA License
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
