Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Estimator to join our team at State Farm. As an Auto Estimator, you will play a critical role in handling claims resulting in property damage to vehicles. Your primary responsibility will be to estimate vehicle damage, provide technical support to claim handlers, and ensure that our customers receive remarkable service throughout the claims process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates
  • Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues
  • Apply knowledge of market value and other factors affecting reparability issues
  • Evaluate bid content and photo documentation, vehicle damage, and causation issues
  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • Auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, and/or auto insurance appraiser experience
  • Ability to adequately evaluate vehicle damage and create repair estimates
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license is required

Preferred Skills:

  • Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License
  • CCC One and/or Mitchell knowledge
  • I-CAR Platinum Certification
