Our Medical-Surgical unit is dedicated to providing holistic care to a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic conditions, or facing acute medical challenges. We emphasize a patient-centered approach, tailoring care plans to meet both the physical and emotional needs of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and policies.
- Develop and oversee patient care plans, ensuring accurate monitoring and communication of patient conditions.
- Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing directives effectively.
- Assess and facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing required prior to hire.

Education:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at the time of hire.
