About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room, you will deliver direct nursing care following established hospital policies and protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
- Coordinating the use of supplies, instruments, and equipment in the operating room.
- Managing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Interpreting patient information and making informed decisions regarding necessary actions.
- Monitoring and communicating the patient's condition and needs to the interdisciplinary team.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 30 days of employment. A nursing degree is also necessary.
