Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transplant (Cell Therapy) Coordinator to join our team at Duke University Hospital. This role will play a critical part in the delivery of compassionate care to patients undergoing cellular therapies, including CAR-T and TIL products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients and families on all aspects of cell therapy care, including follow-up appointments, labs, and multidisciplinary team coordination
  • Collaborate with HMCT faculty and staff to provide a source of truth for commercial CAR-T products, patients, and data
  • Communicate with patients and caregivers regarding the plan of care and ongoing changes
  • Provide consistent alignment and communication with pharmaceutical vendors
  • Manage patient-related care data, including visits, quality information, outcomes, and continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Make clinical judgments based on current research, concepts, principles, theories, and outcomes to solve complex problems
  • Collaborate with medical faculty, pharmacy, nursing personnel, case management, and other health disciplines to facilitate patient and family needs
Requirements
  • 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on hematologic malignancies, blood and marrow transplant, and/or cellular therapies
  • Current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina
  • BLS certification
