Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Liaison at The Glenview at Pelican Bay plays a crucial role in evaluating prospective residents/guests in medical facilities to determine eligibility for care and assess suitability for placement. This role is pivotal in cultivating and sustaining essential relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, discharge planners, and senior living providers, to enhance business development and community engagement. Additionally, this position will support all marketing outreach initiatives for the Health Center.
The Clinical Liaison is tasked with the following duties:
- Engaging in the development and achievement of the community's sales and occupancy targets in alignment with the marketing strategy.
- Fostering positive relationships with discharge planners, physicians, families, and other healthcare providers to promote Premier Place's offerings.
- Maintaining active communication with potential residents/guests and their families to drive sales activities, including personal outreach through calls, visits, and tours.
- Staying informed about operational, competitive, and organizational developments to effectively address inquiries and convey the community's message.
- Evaluating potential residents/guests by reviewing medical histories and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to determine appropriate admissions.
- Communicating admission criteria and gathering payer information, including Medicare and Private Pay options.
- Contributing to the formulation of annual marketing plans and participating in competitive analysis and event planning.
- Establishing and nurturing strategic relationships with professional referral sources through effective outreach.

- Preferred: Associate's degree in nursing or a related health field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years in a sales/admissions role within skilled nursing, home health, or assisted living.
- Proficient problem solver with a solid understanding of healthcare insurance, including Medicare and Long-Term Care solutions.
- Comfortable delivering marketing presentations and demonstrating proven skills in community outreach.
- Familiarity with technology relevant to the role and its application in outreach strategies and communication with professionals and families.

- Awareness of the unique needs of the aging population.
