POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, developing schedules, and training new personnel on essential company policies. This role is crucial in ensuring the longevity of our equipment through regular maintenance and effective troubleshooting of issues. The Maintenance Manager will lead the team to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and oversee the functionality of all company equipment and facilities.
  • Manage the installation and repair of mechanical systems within the facility.
  • Establish and enforce maintenance procedures and policies.
  • Recruit and supervise both technical and non-technical maintenance staff.
  • Delegate tasks to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for maintenance tasks.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and track expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and fire regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and provide reports to management.
  • Conduct health and safety risk assessments regularly.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Familiarity with OSHA and USDA regulations.
