Role Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As an Electrical Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment in our test lab environment.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in electrical work, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing electrical circuits, installing new equipment, and performing tests to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency situations, such as electrical outages or fires, and take prompt action to resolve the issue.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize electrical maintenance needs, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in electrical work, preferably in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
  • Journeyman-level qualification in electrical work or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces, with a willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
