Job Overview

The Logistics Associate plays a vital role in the success of our business at Trilogy MedWaste. As a Non-CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing customer collection routes with varying schedules and deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

* Collect containers from healthcare offices
* Drive vehicle to customer location along determined route collecting material for delivery to designated location
* Report for and successfully complete all training as required
* Prepare and report pre & post trip inspections
* Maintain Driver's Hours of Service Log as required
* Review and sign manifests and shipping papers
* Provide customer training (manifesting, packaging, etc)
* Properly label, load and secure materials for transport
* Clean, wash and refuel vehicle as needed
* Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

* Must have a good driving record within 3 years; no accident reported
* Must have excellent customer service skills with other employees, customers, and regulators
* Must understand how to use computer for data entry
* Must be able to use software app on mobile phone for manifest documentation
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
* Quickly adapt to changing business demands
* Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks, software, and protocols
* Must meet all applicable DOT and licensing requirements
* Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner's Card (MEC)

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $20 per hour. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
