RichSmith Management is Seeking a Skilled Maintenance Professional

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at RichSmith Management. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

About the Role:

  • Inspect and prepare vacant apartment units for occupancy, completing a thorough make-ready checklist
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, changing air filters, and timely repairs
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for work orders and service requests
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and team members, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct daily inspections of building and common areas, addressing any issues or concerns promptly

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with a strong understanding of various maintenance areas
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work well with others and provide a high level of service to residents and team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Availability to rotate in an 'on-call' capacity for routine maintenance and emergency repairs
