Job Title: CDL A Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering our products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Job Summary:

The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for:

  • Delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport products
  • Unloading products from the trailer and placing them in the customer's storage area
  • Verifying delivery of products with customers
  • Collecting money (cash or checks) where needed
Requirements:

To be successful as a CDL A Truck Driver, you will need:

  • A valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required
  • Must be able to pass DOT physical

Work Schedule:

The CDL A Truck Driver will work a 1st shift schedule, with start times ranging between 1am-6am. The driver will be required to work weekends and must be available to work overtime as needed.
