About the Role

Airgas is seeking a skilled CDL A Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Load and unload gas cylinders and supplies from the truck
  • Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers
  • Make deliveries in a timely manner, adhering to company standards
  • Safely strap and unstrap cylinders during loading and unloading
  • Make deliveries on customer property sites, using a hand cart as needed
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements
  • Maintain a valid driver's license, medical card, and endorsements
  • No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years
  • No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years
  • Ability to work in a drug-free environment
  • Physical ability to regularly lift 75 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment
