Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Ball Memorial Hospital. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides nutrition care for patients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates nutrition education individualized to patient needs.
  • Precepts dietetics and other health professional students.
  • Orders diets, supplements, and tube feedings as approved by the Medical Staff Office.
  • Develops medical care plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or a related field.
  • Active Indiana license.
  • Registration Eligible hires are required to obtain their RD and LD within 6 months of hire date.
