Role Summary
In a dynamic and fast-paced production setting, the Pharmacy Packaging Support Specialist is responsible for the packing, shipping, and sorting of prescription orders in alignment with established operational procedures and guidelines. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of packaged prescriptions before they are dispatched.

Reporting Structure
This position reports to: GVP, Pharmacy Services; Fulfillment Center Pharmacy Pharmacists; Packing Team Leaders
Main Responsibilities
- Accurately places prescription containers into bags for delivery to patients or retail pharmacies, following verification by a pharmacist.
- Operates various packing stations, including automated and manual packing systems.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and a positive workplace atmosphere.
- Prepares documentation and organizes medications for delivery and mailing.
- Maintains compliance with departmental and organizational standards regarding personal hygiene and attire.
- Ensures pharmacy supplies are adequately stocked.
- Adheres to company policies and operational guidelines.
- Reports to work punctually as scheduled.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provides assistance in other areas of the Fulfillment Center as required.
- Undertakes other job-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to follow detailed written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.

- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations.
- Capability to interpret computer-generated information.
Educational Background
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
Physical Demands
- Visual acuity is necessary, including the ability to see at a distance of 20 inches or less, with or without correction.
- Must be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, twisting, standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.
Work Environment
This role is situated in a high-noise environment and requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced office and warehouse setting with significant demands.
Equipment Utilized
Operates high-volume robotic solutions and related software.
