Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This position is ON - SITE.

FTE:

Shift: Shift 1

Schedule: Monday-Friday with 2 weekend shifts required per month for inpatient units. (Weekend shift differential available.)

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility is to deliver long-term staffing support across various inpatient and outpatient departments at Froedtert main campus.

The Rehabilitation Therapist provides extensive therapy services to patients by evaluating, planning, executing, and documenting care and treatment programs. The therapist engages in diverse Rehabilitation Services department initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and programs. A Rehabilitation Therapist II showcases advanced assessment and treatment capabilities and participates in program development, staff training, and student supervision. Additionally, they exhibit emerging leadership qualities and mentor department personnel. Other responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of two years of clinical therapy experience fulfilling Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program is mandatory.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Must demonstrate proficiency in all PT level 1 competencies, maintain productivity standards, and possess the potential to assume additional responsibilities. Clinical expertise in specific disciplines may be required.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
WI state license as a Physical Therapist is essential. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire. RN/OT/PT/SLP preferred.
