Burn Care Quality Improvement Nurse

The Performance Improvement Burn RN Coordinator PRN is a key member of the TriStar Skyline Medical Center team, responsible for implementing formal and informal education programs to improve patient care and outcomes. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Burn Medical Director and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop and implement education programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Monitor and report on patient outcomes and quality indicators to inform performance improvement initiatives.
- Three to five years of nursing experience in a critical care or burn setting.
- Valid Tennessee nursing license (or eligible).
- BLS certification required.
- ABLS certification required within one year of hire.
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC.
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree, BSN preferred.
