School Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social functioning to identify areas of strength and need.
- Develop and Implement IEPs: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement individualized educational plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide Counseling and Support: Offer guidance and support to students dealing with academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges, promoting a positive and inclusive school climate.
- Lead Multidisciplinary Teams: Participate in collaborative teams to support students with diverse needs, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Master's or Doctoral Degree: A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology is required, with state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts.
- Certifications: National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred, along with a MA Department of Education School Psychologist License.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Empathy and Compassion: A strong understanding of the needs of students, with empathy and compassion for their challenges and successes.
- Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in school psychology, ensuring compliance and best practices.
